drying up a female

Anyone know of a way to dry up a female once the pups are weaned off her.

Drying.......

Spirit of Camphor mixed with a little baby oil once or twice a day, worked for me for years.

pedigree

Got this advice from my vet and im lucky to have a good one.I do this and it works for me.When i have a female with pups i feed a quality dog food.I prefer extreme athlete. When its time to take pups off female i buy a 10 pound bag of the worst dog food i can find.I use pedigree.Feed normal amount or a little less.Within 5-10 days the dog will be naturally well on the way to being dried up without taking anything away from her ,water etc.
