Dc50 issue any help would appreciated.

I ran last night collar worked perfect as it has since I purchased it. Got home took it off the dog and it was off and wouldn't come back on hooked the charger to it and still nothing. Tried to reset it that didn't work so about an hour later I was going to try unhooking the battery but then I pushes the button and it came on and is work like it should. Any idea of what happened and how I can prevent it from happening again?

I wish I could help. That's a new one on me I haven't had that happen. I have been having some issues with mine also. 1 time I cut the dogs loose and mine was showing my dog at 300 yards and he was about 30 yards in front of me on the road I could see him plain as day. Well I went this week and the same collar would not pick up on my garmin after trying a few things to get it to pick up. I ended up deleting it from my system and adding it back before it would pick it up. I think there is a bug in the 50's and hopefully they will release and update soon the fix these issues.

.

If you have a problem with a 50 you don't really need to unplug the battery. They put in a reset feature and I am not clear what you did from your post, BUT. If it would happen to to hang up and stay red or not come on like yours did--do the following. Hold the off/on button in for 20-30 seconds. That should reset it.
