I had a B&T female who weighed 40 pounds. The day before she had pups she didn't look near as big as this female as far as having a belly full of pups. She ended up having 13 and raised them all past weaning! They weren't tiny pups either! I'd say each female just carries the puppy weight differently.

I'm going to guess 12. Let us know how she does.

Anxious to see how many she has! We will have to talk sometime for years I hunted Rooster blood, was personal friends with Bob Roby from Wapakaneta Ohio that owned the GRNDNITE Fallen Timber Dusty dog in Ivy's pedigree had several good double bred Rooster dogs. Ivy sure is a good one! Take care Joe and spoil that little girl now! Wished I lived closer!

Well everyone the pups were born last night into this morning. Jughead and myself guessed it right. Ivy had nine pups. Two males and seven females. Hey Doug, there is even a blue female in the bunch, lol. I will post pics soon. It seems that photo bucket is slow at receiving the pics..... Joe
