This just plain sucks!!!!!!!!!! I dont know if I can take anymore. Seems like I shovel kennels out everyday. I work about a hour from home and cant take driving home 30 mph to many more times because of the roads.

I thought I was the only one that was ready for this winter to be over with!!! Seems like we can't get a break from this pattern since Dec. Spring can't get here soon enough for me. Would like to use a lot more explicit words to express my opinion about the weather, but this is a public forum. Take care, Ron.

We are getting paid back for the past 2 winters that were so mild. I knew it was going to come back to bite us eventually.

The global warming front has moved back into SW MO . I'm in the recliner by the fire & Ol' Maf is locked in the bathroom cause he won't stay off the new couch - likes the attention & to watch tv lol . He better be ready this weekend his house dog days are over , the weather is supposed to be better .
Heard Al Gore spends all winter in Cabo then somewhere in Arizona through the summer . Time for a mid-west hunting trip for him he may diside it's global colder !

Not trying to sound like an old mountain man or anything, but did anyone else notice how much fat the early coons had on them this season? My Dad said he had seen that before and it meant it was going to be a harsh winter. Now in the last week we have had 2 coons get into our pup pen looking for food. Had to shoot both cause they climbed trees next to the kennel and had dogs going nuts. Skinned them and they had no fat at all on them. Like they woke up starving.

Minus 7 this mourning, minus 23 windchill. I got this big black mule that has never been penned up a day in his life till this winter. The pasture is all flooded and froze so everything is in the barn so they don't fall on the ice. So this mourning, Big Boy has had enough. About to kick the door off his stall. So I gave in and let him out. 15 minutes later he's trying to kick the door off the barn so he can get back in. Friggen mules.

Sold off all my hounds except 1 and she can't tree a coon anyway so I made her a house dog. After the winter we've had I'm not regretting it one bit.

we got a heat wave here it went out of the teens over nite warm up to 24 right now real light snow they calling for 2-4 today hope they wrong im like you brogy i sold my young dog to a buddy going to wait till spring or summer buy me another 1 i can go with my 1 buddy if i want to go i still got 2 beagles left so much snow can't hunt them
