Finally!!!

Well my old dog Luke got killed a couple years ago. Pup. off him is not about 7 years old and never had any aggression towards anything. He even has a pet cat that sleeps on top of him daily. Great smart pet tho.

Well tonight we got a cage coon AGAIN. He went nuts this time. And when i opened the trap to release it wrapped around his head. Thought it was killing him. Tore him up good before he got a bite in on it. He changed. He meant to kill it. It go free and ran he was on its tail. It went up a tree few harda away and he treed. Unfortunately the leaves prevented findig the coon to shoot out. But i am so proud that he finally got interested. His dad was an amazing coonhound. Now this one has an amazing voice like his dad. He might make a hunter yet. Just a super slow starter lol..

Lots of fun tho.

He protects that cat.. i told him alot that his dad would be ashamed of him for that lol... but his dad sure been proud of his reaction on the cage coon and how he fought it.

Dog/Cat

Kevin,

Your cat sleeping on top of the dog brought back many memories from YEARS AGO. I had a walker female that was a pretty nice hound EXCEPT she was meaner than a snake on the tree. Everywhere else she was the nicest dog. She also had a cat friend that slept in her dog box or on top of her.

This went on for some time until 1 day that cat went past her and she grabbed that cat and killed it in the blink of an eye. I couldn't believe my eyes! Don't know what triggered her...never did figure it out.
