Chief is an outstanding hound, and has accomplished a lot as a 3 year old. His pedigree speaks for itself. Chief runs a track hard and fast with an extremely loud bawl and comes on the tree with three long, dying bawls and rolls over to a chop. His locate is unmistakable, a kid could call him. Chief is not a dead loner, but will get split often. Chief has never been bad about pulling up short, he likes to have a coon when he trees. You wont find an ill hair on him. Trash has NEVER been a problem with Chief. Chief is going to hunt hard and fast until he finds a coon, and closes quickly.
