Just seems like ya get a good one or you dont, i have a 220 that is 4 yrs. old and have never had to recalibrate the compass, always is right on. I got turned around once and recalibrated it because i didnt trust it, but it was me that was wrong. But i have buddies that are constantly spinnin around in circles to recalibrate theirs.
I always change batteries before they get real low, dont know if that makes a difference or not.
