Question For UKC

In the past hunts used to be held on a certain weekend in the month. The only ones that this seems to hold true for this are the big breed hunts and Large UKC hunts. The hunts that used to be held the 2nd weekend in April are now the 1st weekend. The ones that used to be held on the 1st weekend in April are now the last weekend in March. Last Year should have been the year for the hunts to move forward or backwards depending on how you want to look at it but it didn't happen. So if this trend continues the ones held in March will be held in December!

So when will we see these hunts back to there original weekends???

Berger

I always thought they were held on full weeks. for example if a RQE is held the first full week of the new month. A short week wouldn't be the first Saturday it would be the second. Kinda get my drift? I remember years back Kalona had an RQE and a prohunt scheduled for the same weekend.

I'll see you next week, please by NICE

Hunts are scheduled by week end number counted from the World Hunt. Due to the calendar changing, the hunt date moves around but the week end number stays the same.

That is what I am talking about. The zones and world are the 1st half of September in stead of the middle and last half. At work every 7 years or so we have a 53 week year in the reports. Other wise your quarterly and yearly reports get off course. UKC is off course the last couple years on there dates!!! LOL

If my memory serves me correct, the events are scheduled so many weeks before Autumn Oaks. If AO is early, so will the events prior. Ex. If an event is generally 8 weeks before AO last year, it will be 8 weeks prior this year.
