my English won't stay treed with walker males .

I have an English male that will tree hard with everything but walker males. He is fast to get treed but comes off and just circles the tree about 20 feet away. I think he may have been roughed up by a walker at the tree before, does anyone know how I can get him over this problem ?

I would suggest finding a good pair of walkers to hunt with in your area. First things first, I would recommend tie-ing your dog back away from the tree when you get it. Don't force him to share it with the walkers . Gradually move him closer in every tree you make it to. I had a male who had almost the same problem.
Cheers and good luck.

I believe this. I once had a Black dog that would only try to whoop black dogs off the tree. He must of not liked his own kind. TRUE STORY!!!

Fortunately/Unfortunately the dog shows a lot of intelligence, put it this way. Your sitting around watching the campfire when a log rolls out. without thinking you pick it up to put it back in the fire. You just burnt your hand. I bet the next time you pick up a log that rolled out of a fire you look for coals or something to move the log with.

Balls

Seen this in many many English dogs! That's ther main fault. 90% of them just don't have enuff bawls to stay on the wood ,with other up on the wood tree dogs! Regardless of breed or color! Good luck.
