 Shipping pups-motionsickness

Is there anything that you can give a pup to make it calm,drousy,or whatever during shipping,that can be bought over the counter. Thanks

Ive used motion sickness pills. also there is a liquid by homeopet Travel Anxiety that works well. best to give liquid for several days per instructions before travel. give pill 30-1 hr before travel. depending on age of pet, may be able to get some ACE pills from vet.

 Dr. Bach's Rescue Remedy

Hi..I recommend this homeopathic flower essence as an exceptional calming remedy. Avoiding medications is key...whether air or car shipping, most airlines will not accept a medicated animal...and they should not accept one, as the high stress compounded with the medications can accelerate & your pup will be DOA.

 Pill

I always just gave the motion sickness pill about 6-8 hours before shipping and they always showed up happy. Something else that I highly recommend is to take a $1.00 stuffed animal and leave it overnight with the mother and siblings. Ship it along with the pup and it gives them just a little more comfort.

problem w/ stuffed animal is if the pup is rough, it may chew/tear the animal and swallow the stuffing...not good either.
