squirrel problem

I have a pup out of draggin bawls. She is 13 months old. Will tree coon on her own no problem. Ive never had a problem with junk. But last night she treed in a huge oak tree. there was nothing in it that I could see. But there was a hole about 2 times the size of a soft ball. I think it was a squirrel hole but I don't know never had a problem with squirrel or any other game. But if it is a squirrel What do I do. I am a youth hunter don't really know What to do or think.

That hole sounds plenty big enough for a coon to get in to me.

If the hole is big enough to get his head in he can get his body in as well. Id say its a coon.

A coon is just like a cat, any place they can get their head in, they can get their whole body in
