We will be holding a big coon contest on Feb. 28 2014. (Weather Permitting) We are holding this in memory of DYLAN JONES age 20 that just past Feb. 1 2014 from brain cancer. The young man had a chance to kill his first bear this year with a local bear hunter ( Scoot Kuhn). We are having the hunt to help cover the cost of the mount. The mount will be displayed in

Sign up sheet will be at the store and you can sign up anytime, but dead line is Feb. 28 at 6:00 pm. Weigh in dead line will be at midnight. The largest coon weighed on or before dead line will get half of the total registration fees taken in. Will have raffles for dog food and maybe other hunting supplies. The hunt is 10 dollars per person/hunting group.

Looks like it is going to be cold for the hunt, but the coon has been on the move. Hoping we have a good turn out. I will have some pics after the hunt.

Hunt went well last night. Had 24 entries But only 4 brought back coons and 2 hunters brought back 2 so 6 were killed. Raised 396.00$ total at the store plus more from a coon club that's on its way. Will have pics and thanks to everyone that helped after I get things put together.
