Balance
1. Does the dog think for its self and do what it knows to do and do it right. No Me Too, but will hunt with others as the situation dictates..
2. Is it as good a track dog as a treedog..
3. Is it consistant night in and night out.. All of em have an occasional bad night....
4. Good at having the coon a large percentage of the time.
5. Adequate at properly checking a tree before locking down.. This goes with # 4...
Overall pretty darn good in all areas of hunting for, striking , trailing and tree barking on a coon. Doesn't exhibit much in the ways of negative in this regard.. ie trashy, ill, crazy acting and wild eyed.. excessive barking in the kennel or on a chain, more of a calm demeanor showing intelligence... Just MHO....

Yeah, I competition hunt !! All Fall and Winter long.. My Blues compete with the local coon.. My Blues win a ton !!! We use and recommend MOONSHINER LIGHTS, Peggs , Ok.
