Cold

Had a female Redcoat Mandy, yr's ago that would open on a track & other dogs would go to her & come back & the other guys in cast would say Hate to tell u she is running something other than coon , she would keep opening & moving not just boo hoo'ing in one spot , she was a bawl mouth track, finly when she would locate the other dogs would go to her & tree with her & a lot of times it would be a den tree, & her daughter Redcoat Dark Star was the same way,

I notice

GRNTCH Millcreeks Yellow River Stone. Stone has the kinda nose that can move and finish those colder tracks. His mother NTCH Bailey did too. Stone doesn't have many pups on the ground, but he is passing this trait on to his pups.
Just what I have noticed.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN KNOWN TO HUNT A PRETTY COLD NOSED DOG,I HUNT 12 MONTHS OUT THE YEAR HERE IN OKLAHOMA,TRACKING CONDITIONS GET PRETTY BAD AT TIMES,SO I ALWAYS TRY TO LOOK FOR AND BREED FOR A COLD NOSE,BUT I DON'T LIKE A TRACK STRADDLER,I WANT THEM TO USE THAT NOSE AND COVER GROUND FAST,I HAVE CUT LOOSE A LOT OF GOOD COLD NOSED RED DOGS OVER THE YEARS,BUT NIECH.GRCH.SIMPSONS COON CRAZY COOTER HAS PROBABLY THE BEST NOSE ON HIM OF ANY REDBONE I HAVE HUNTED,I HAVE SEEN HIM TREE COON THAT SOME OTHER DOGS DON'T EVEN KNOW IS IN THE TREE.
