I guess that Cid was trying to tell us something when she did not get pregnant. She died peacefully in her sleep late Sat night. She appeared fine Saturday evening. She was out walking around, wagging her tail and wanting to be petted. Cid was a great hound with a great personality. Cid belonged to Aaron Wade and I know that he is going to miss her.

Sorry to hear about Cid. I remember when the litter was born....within two weeks, my wife was holding one of the little females in her lap and I remember her saying, "your name is Cid!" and it stuck. She was a nice female.

Not Fair

For a good ol dog to die that far from home. She deserved to lay in the sun a while longer. What a sweetheart of a dog. I will miss her and I feel bad for my pal.

She was a sweetheart. And there were quite a few people wishing that I would get a litter from her. Mr Gilchrist, I guess you know that you now have a couple of "collectors items". They are one of a kind.
