looks like its going to be cold! ill be hunting in union and adams counties. never laid eyes on the famrs so dont know how much luck we are going to have. have a weeks to make it happen

Cold? lol Breaking ice and standing in water in the duck marsh last Sunday at 16 degrees wasn't even cold. Sitting all bundled up on a deer stand will be like a picnic. Could be really good timing. Showing signs of second rut here in southern Michigan which should be about the same for Iowa.

You are lucky it is warming up! Suppose to be in high 20's this week.Last weekend my 10 yr old son shot his first buck it was -5 and it was COLD.. We tagged out with 7 deer Sunday afternoon.
