I turned out my memory maker pup last night and heard him strike, track, and tree his first coon all by himself. I am beyond proud of him. He is my very first coon dog. I have worn out a fair amount of shoe leather with him this season. I have been more than frustrated at times, but to hear him and see a coon sitting in the tree made it all worth it. I have to give thanks to the good Lord above and to some really good buddies who kept me encouraged. I know I will still need them, as I know I still have lots of work to do.
