My fiest loves a squirrel hide but won't bark at a tree or a live squirrel Wat do I do I really need help he's 4 or 5 months old 8325795074 u can txt if u want or just comment on this plz help

first off you need to relaise he is a baby, would you expect a 4 or 5 yr old to hop in your car & drive off down town or anywhere for that matter.
let him be a pup, right now is time to do the yard training like coming when called or any command you want to train it to do.
use a lil common sence .most people expect to much to soon.when he is ready he will start barking at the drag. by the way most over the use of sq. tails & other gimmicks. a natural born tree & track dog just needs exposure to the game you want them to hunt, & will tree when they are ready without any coaching from you.time in the woods at the proper age .

put a squirrel feeder out next to his pen and let him bark at them naturally then one day when he really wants it turn him out of the cage and if he trees on it give it to him and if he doesn't bark but is looking up the tree shoot it in the foot and walk it down to him and when he starts barking at it shoot it out to him and praise him. I would give him til a year old before id start over and never be rough with him until he starts doing it right and never beat on a dog a thin switch and a firm no is all you need to do, most curs and feists are very smart and learn fast. One other word of advice on training is if you want to mess with him at a early age let him run and play before you ever start training and keep it one on one with no other people or distractions around. Boot leather and time. It is that simple. I take my little puppies to the local park and it does not take long for them to start getting after them and then they go to the timber and never go back to the park. Works like a charm for me. Your pup is young and has a lot to learn and that education will only come from the timber.
