I'd like to think I could pull myself together enough to put a shot on a monster like that, but I honestly don't know if I'd be able to hold even a camera still enough to get a picture as it walked by lol.

Deer hunters crank me up. Shooting a giant buck today is like winning AO or Walker Days back before they had the hunt offs. Back then you win those big hunts you were immediately branded a cheater, slick handler or crooked owner. Shoot a monster buck today, all the questions of integrity come out. But considering things in the past, I suppose that is to be expected.

impressive buck, not so impressive shot by the way the wounds look! at least he got it, but i'm sure he was very nervous and shook up! heck I would have just thrown my bow at it cause ain't no way I could even draw back on it!

Amazing story

The guy who shot this is Mark Owen. His mother attends my church. This deer was shot in Wayne county and as I understand on the land of one of his customers. He breeds cows for a ton of dairy farmers in northern ohio. I would say a chance of a couple lifetimes buck and probably spoiled him for hunting the rest of his life. And the photo was not photo shopped to increase the size of the deer.
