Garmin 320 question

I'm thinking about getting the 320 unit with the new dc50 collars and I was wondering if I'd possibly be able to use the dc 40 collars right along side the 50'samd still have them work alright and show up on the same unit

320

you can use any combination of 40's or 50's up to ten collars on the 320. The 50 uses 19 more satellites than the 40. I have not seen much difference in distance but I have seen a major difference in the number of times i loose comm with the DC50. I hardly ever loose comm with the DC50 but the DC40 goes in and out alot especially this time of year with the leaves still on the trees.
