BBOA Zone 6 Outstanding Dog of The Year
GRCH GRWCH GRFCH GRNITECH 'PR'` FARONY SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL




We were blessed to be able to go to several of the BBOA sectional hunts this year with this old dog. He was stolen late July and we did not recover him until late August. We thank God for his return.

Spec is a very special hound. He came from an outstanding liter. Three pups turned out to be Quad Grands, one CH NITECH (was killed before he got the last NITECH win), and 2 more pups could of, would of, should of, if they went to competition hunters. His sire was the Zone 6 Outstanding Dog of 2005, inducted into the Georgia Hall of Fame and is currently the male BBOA Zone 6 Hall of Fame Candidate, GRWCH GRFCH GRNITECH GRCH ‘PR’ FARONY BLUE STEEL RUGER.
Spec is over 10 years old now but still has much the speed and the loud mouth that he was known for in his younger days. He is not retired from hunting so if anyone wants to come for a hunt just let us know.

I was going to get the information to post this. You saved me some work. We are so sorry for the omission and Spec will be in the 2013 bluebook with the proper add. I got to see the results from the hunts. I don't recall him not winning a cast he was on. Tony and Spec did a nice job last year and we are so proud to have them as our dog of the year. Spec also won two King of shows. Congradulations on this wonderful achievement and the the accomplishments of these hounds speak for themselves. Thanks, Lance

How did this happen? Dog of the year-the single most important designation for a dog and owner in Zone 6. Casey and Tony- I am so sorry this has happened to you. All those miles, entry fees and late nights returning home chasing a goal that you reached, well sort of. I have the 2008 BBOA National Blueticks King of Hunt trophy which I helped win and an uncolleted reward offer for anyone who can show me in print in a BBOA yearbook where I was credited with this win. Hope this turns out different for you but IT CAN NEVER BE MADE UP. Many good Bluetick men served this once proud organization. The very best wishes to you two and to the good people who are willing to continue.

It's on me. I have talkedto Tony and Casey about it and they have been more than forgiving and understanding about it. I am humbled by their words. I should have caught it but did not.

This situation has nothing to do with whatever happened to you. If it will make you feel better to fuss at me feel free keep complaining. You are also welcome to call me if you like. I messed up. I feel bad about it. Thanks. The buck stops with me. The add will be in the 2013 book.
