Mountain Home Ark. to Taney and Ozark County Mo.

Thinking of buying property in Northwest or North Central Ark. possibly into Southwest Mo. Looking for some input on the coon hunting. Is there plenty of places to hunt? Thick coons, thin coons etc. I have gotten some input from folks over around Rodgers and Clarksville. Would like to hear from some in the areas listed on the subject line.

I know there has to be hunters from Mountain Home to Taney County. My wife says that it a sickness when coon hunting plays so much of a part in the decision about where to live. Of course I ain't never said I wasn't a little sick. Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks Rowdy, I see your around Ava, I actually looked at some property there. My main concern is just places to hunt. I don't have to tree 5 or 6 a night to have fun. Where I live now it's a chore to find a place to drop them that isn't posted.

Well most people around here don't mind as long as you ask them first. About any farmer will let you coon and coyote hunt

I've hunted up there several times, they had a good population but nothing like the river bottom hunting we have here in east central Arkansas, plus it's a lot easier walking down here that those hills :-)
