Hey light builders!!!

I have an older sunburst eagle 2 +2 with ni cad batteries. The head is shot but I was wondering if any of the lower voltage led heads would work on these lights. Has anybody tried this? It's been a back up for couple years but I would like a useable back up light lol

the snake eyes head from bright eyes will work but you have to plug it in where the spot light plugs in on the eagle. the head has its own rheostat to dim it down.
the head calls for 20 volts, but they work just fine off the 18 or so volts the eagle puts out at the spot light plug.. eagles only push 14 volts to the diamond head they come with at the head light plug with the rheostat wide open... and you will have to change the guitar plug on the head light cord to the banana plug for the eagle.
you can get another diamond head from sunburst for $31.50..

Thanks for the info tc, I had looked into the diamond heads but I think I'll pick up a led head for it, the brightness and burn time would be superior to the diamond head in everyway I would think. I mainly just like the comfort of the sunburst . I take it that you have used the led head on a sunburst? If so, how did brightness and burn time differ from the old style head? Jw cause my 5100 head kills the light twice as fast as the diamond did .
