I just want to say that God is good. I just returned from a deployment to Afghanistan. I arrived home to North Carolina this morning. I want to say thank you too all my family and friends that supported me throughout this deployment. This was my 4th deployment to a combat zone and the God lord has had mercy on me and brought me home to my loved ones each and every time. If you don't believe that God is good I am a testimony. Thanks.

Thanks and Welcome Home!!! There is nothing sweeter than stepping back on American soil and it is something a Soldier will never forget. It has been almost eight years since I came home from my first deployment and I remember it like yesterday.

I've been on three combate deployments and god was with me so brother glad Ur home and safe.... thank you for Ur honor courage and Ur family and freinds who supported u directly and for everyone else like myself who's been there as welll and from me personally thank you and I'm glad another good soul come home safe and not hurt physically and hopefully not mentally..... if u need a freind to talk to pm maybe I can be a freond u can talk to since I know how it feels and i think I speak for all the vets here.....thank you and god bless u freind

Thank you all for all the kind words. I can tell you that the support from family and friends means a lot to service members and deployed civilians. When we arrived at Baltimore Washington Intl airport there were volunteers there waiting to greet us. It is a great feeling of pride and accomplishment to have adults and small kids that you have never seen or met before welcoming you back and cheering you on when you step off that plane.

I can speak first hand on service members and civilians that were out there and didn't return home. I can tell you that it is only the grace, mercy and blood of the lord that has covered me, throughout my entire life and has allowed me to remain on this earth.
