I hunted with him and own a pup out of him. Rasputin is a hard tree dog. Hunts hard.

The pup I own is the same. Hard tree dog. Hunts hard, always at a dead run. Independant. Good rig dog. Good conformation

Never have got to draw out with him however from people I have spoke with he is a jam up coondog. Look up boogieman on here. The Taylors are straight up good people they will shoot you straight on him.

I own the Rasputin dog and do not like to brag about him, because it always comes back to bite you! He is not 100 % accurate. Up until he was 18 months old he never treed up a tree that did not have a coon seen or was a den tree. He has treed up huge oak trees where the coon could or could not have been. Rasputin does not walk on water, but on an average he's a pretty decent coon hound. No dog is perfect, but we love him. We continue to hunt him in big hunts, even though he is breeding, because he loves to hunt. He is throwing excellent young dogs that are doing well in the hunts and shows.

Raz is a no nonsense coondog, I met Robert Taylor at english days when raz was just a year old and to this day I have never hunted with a dog that young that blew me away. He was a 1st tree dog on ever drop except the last and that was the only circle tree of the night. He was 100% that night minus 1 tree that was a legit circle tree. Don't own a hair on the dog but if you have a quality female he's a fine choice.
Lesa and Robert will go out of there way to help you out. Just good folks with a true coonhound.
