Smile Independence-Genetics or Manmade or Combo of Both

While I was hunting alone the other night I began wandering about all the so called independent stud dogs and females that are advertised with pups for sale or to breed to and began wandering, why is their so much emphasis put on hunting a dog alone to make them independent when these independent dogs should come genetically pre-wired. I hunt my dog alone a lot but as I understand he was always a loner from a young dog, so it makes no difference to him, I would guess. But if you think about the kid in school that was always a loner, was that because his parents always made him play alone, maybe but I would doubt any parents can be that mean, then on the flip side there was always the social kid in school that always had to be part of everything, genetic or learned? These are probably questions that can not have simple answers, but give your opinion anyhow, it will make for good conversation for some at least. My vote is they are born that way and not made, because I have found no matter how hard you hunt a me too dog alone their first instinct is still to go cover when given the chance.

Interesting, can't wait to here some comments. I think it's gotta be in the dog.
