I was looking and these seam pretty cool if they'll track far i was wondering if anyone uses these on there hunting dogs if so what brand and how does it work how far will it reach?

Its been brought up before, if this is what your talking about. I don't own a cell phone so probably not the person to comment on this, but what I remember reading is, particularily with car deallerships, they can put a tracking device on their loaner or lease cars and can track their location when need be.

From what I gather there has to be reputable cell phone coverage for this to work for hound tracking, and in remote areas that would not be the case. Plus I assume a monthly fee to the cell phone provider.
