Liked his pedigree, liked the shot of Jane he had.
I shipped a female with Littleman 3 times in her 4 gen to breed to him, that was my first litter ever. I drove to Ms to pick him up and we went hunting with Guitar and a young dog out of him Royce called Banjo. We treed 3 times for 2 coons, really liked him.
The pup I kept from that litter was ok in the woods, she was however the hardest most impressive tree dog I have ever owned or seen. I wish I was a more experienced trainer back then i think she made it in spite of me... :-)

Never got to hunt with the Guitar dog, but we owned a grand daughter to him that die here just a while back at14 yrs old that we still use as a measureing stick for a coon dog. Deadly accurate and stay put. The Guitars Ghost dog is a grandson to him and passed on as Mr Herring called it hard impressive treeing gene. The cross of Ghost xSister was all loud hard treeing and impressive.

I'm sorry that your dog passed , I also own a grandson out of Taylor's guitar and he might not be the fastest or the next world champion , but he is one of the best locators and will have the meat when treed . He's really all I could ask for compared to my other coon and bear dogs . He comes to me when he is called , hunts all night to he finds a coon , handles good , not a mean hair on him, will stayed treed all night to the next morning until I pull him off . Just a pleasure dog .

Nope that's a different dog than the one I was thinking of. I hunted with a lot of dogs on that pedigree listed though and owned one of them.
