My 12 month old bluetick just went through her first heat cycle. She started June 29. I would like y'all's opinion on when I could start hunting her again. I am a youth and this is my first dog so any advice will be appreciated.

if you don't have a male to check her with, to see if she will take a male. I would wait another week or maybe 2 just to be safe

A bitch will normally stand for a stud around the 11 or 12 days after you start seeing bloody dis charge or spotting, and will then stand for another 3-6 days , every female is a little different and days might vary some but a fairly safe ball park to go buy.

young man you can hunt her on the 21 day which is her last day heat cycle wash her really good to get the smell of blood off her keep a calender of her cycle good luck young man
