Garmin Alpha

Are they really worth all that money?

Doesn't seem like there are as many folks talking about them as much these days or advertising as much on the venders page. I do see a few used ones for sale from time to time, but not many.

Whats the biggest grips with them. And what kinda problems are people having with them if any.

Just wanting some input or thoughts on the unit.

Thankx

I wouldn't trade mine for anything else!!! Has worked great and having the tone button that will work at over 1500 yards has saved me some walking!!!

Same here. Had one since they came out. Haven't found anything to gripe about.

I'm wanting to buy one but not in need one right now, wondering if a newer model might be coming out anytime in the near future. Last thing I want to do is buy something only to have a new model come out a couple months later.

feel the same way, but traded all my collars and 320 in on one yesterday. I am thinking if anything gets upgraded it will be the collar to track more sats like the 50s do.

I love mine!!! everyone talking about the cost of them... but if you buy a 320 and a dc40 or 50 and then have to get a shocking system also you will end up with more in that set up then you would the Alpha..
