Pretty sure Mr. Ingram doesn't run redbones. He might have one though. His dogs are all grade dogs of mixed breeding. Sounds like he breeds his best to best and they could be blue or red or brindle. No disrespect to him or his dogs. My buddy and I run dogs with a lot of T-top blood and they do really well on cats. We can't run bears but I've sold some pups to bear hunters and they like them. Only sold one pup to a hog hunter but the guy said she's a good one. Donnie Stockton in the Carolinas is supposed to have real good bear dogs. There's a young man named Nick Redmond that has a dog from him that is making a name for himself as a bear dog. Another bear hunter I know is hunting some dogs from Mr. Stockton and really likes them. Another guy I know that runs bear likes the Yellow River stuff. Lots of good ones out there from a few different lines. There's a few guys hunting the Timber Chopper line on bear and cats too. There are more that I don't know about or am forgetting but just about any well bred pup from good hunting stock should work.
ACTUALY DENNIS'S FAVORITE HOUND IS IKE AND HE IS OUT OF BOMBER, AND I SOLD HIM 2 PUPS IN 05 OUT OF Y2KD, HE HUNTS LION, BEAR, BOBCAT AND COON, SOME OF HIS DOGS WERE USED IN LATEST REDFERN MOVIE AND HE WAS CALLED TO CA. TO HELP MAKE IT. HE IS A MOST INTERESTING MAN.
