this crap getting old!!!

after another hot and humid day of sweating my butt off on the farm got the hounds out. it rained last nite bout 3/4 inch so i figured all the "wanna be mudders" would be out on the back roads and sure enough they were. cut dogs loose and soon a truck load came roaring up the road tearing around quarter mile to my north, i was pissed right away but let the dogs hunt and soon heard same loud truck roaring back. dogs were 500 plus yards out but hollared and toned them back and shined my lite towards road and the retards actually stopped. could hear them talking and seen what im sure was cigarettes and lite of cellphones waving around in back of truck. they probly figured some buddies were already out in hayfields tearing around like usual. they cant stick to just roads gotta tear up every kind of crop or hayfield after any kind of rain. its getting old!!!

got dogs loaded and off to the races as fast as a polaris ranger goes and they realized i wasnt a friendly. LOL. followed them several miles to the hiway not gaining any ground but at least never saw them again. their tracks were not hard to follow!!! turned around went to next hunting spot and a dandy 5x5 whitey stood in driveway and got good look at him. hope hes around in november!!! nothing huge but deer id take anyday!

dropped minn, trix, and toby again and like i figured toby came back after getting called back in first run. hes awful sensitive sometimes even after getting toned. goofiest but (sometimes) most badass dog ive ever seen. LOL.

after 400yd out minn and trix split up going different ways. minn struck like was gonna locate at first then started tracking slow im sure close to known den i got marked. trix looped towards her and struck hard moving fast somewhat towards minn. toby burned towards dogs and minn shut up heading towards trix still tracking fast. minn and trix got together and really burned track another few hundred and treed. toby got their couple minutes later hitting track hard and hitting tree. was whole litter up the tree and im sure by chance minn had hit bad end of track and trix hit hot part of it. toby was the smart one, cooled off for awhile then charged in. LMAO. cant cuss him to bad he got heat stroked after 2 long corn races friday nite.

dogs had whole litter up the tree and were cranking, drove around section and got within 300yds of tree. fog was setting in after the tree so drove the long way home hoping to see some more knuckle heads out tearing around or hoping for a rig and didnt get either so called it a nite. me and plenty of landowners getting so sick of these idiots tearing everything up anytime it rains dont know what to do. crap like this reason landowners all over the country are locking gates and not allowing people to hunt even though its random idiot kids raising hell.

Neat Pix!

Sorry bout the four wheelers! Hate that they go out at night esp....
Cool pix as always. Good thing Minn HAS that muscle! I (Heather) had a germ. shep. many moons ago who had spinal degeneration... but she and her littermate sister lived to 13 because I kept them so muscled up and fit and slim etc. Shortly before she died she had her spine xrayed... and the hip joints were GONE...Literally no socket left...but she never took a lame step to let us know about those hips! We hope Minn stays happy and fit....

Stay safe out there and HappyHunting!

Heather and Bob
