Andy Elburn , Megan Perez , Christina Officer , Kathy Shorter, Penny Jessup, Jamie Crigger , Chirpy Birdsal , Natalie Drake , Lori Mills , Amanda Alexander , Taylor Mills and a whole bunch of others that all put more time & effort in than most of us guys . I'm not afraid of any of them cause they're a great bunch of girls but they bring it at show time .

But he's right , you girls bring it at show time , little more of a partnership than we seem to get for the most part . Sorta like the girls and horses thing you see at the fairs and such . Maybe just animals in general , you seem to take more time and firm rather than rough . I think I see and recognize it but can't quite do it that way .

Never "feared" any woman showing a dog.
But , about 25 years ago , Beth Snedagar (sp?) was showing White River King III and a close friend was showing his male.
Two of the finest looking hounds I've ever seen.
It wasn't her that bothered us , it was KING !
Whenever they showed up at the same place , it was a toss up.
They seemed to split the wins back and forth.
Both were top-notch , almost perfect , built hounds.

Just all 'round , meat gettin' hounds.
I've never been "afraid" to show against any handler, male or female...but of all the ladies I show with, I've always thought Penny Jessup does a fantastic job handling ANY dog she shows. She and my good friend Ashley Beaver have taught me more about fooling with show dogs than anyone else out there except for Gerald and Stanley Black.
That being said, there are many female handlers I admire, and many of them have already been mentioned. I do think we women form a different relationship with the dogs than many men do. It makes a world of difference in the presentation of the dog!
