Im sure this topic has come up in other threads, but just would like to know what peoples opinion are on the best stud dog out there right now?
My grandfather has recently bred to Mr. Clean also, so if someone has a Mr. Clean pup please give your feedback on how that dog has preformed, that would be wonderful.
Pictures of pups would also be great.

There are a lot of studs throwing pups that can compete. Amazing to me how much credit and also blame a sire gets for a litter of pups. It takes 2 to tango, meaning the dam and sire give 1/2. Then you better get that pup into a hunters hands. There are for sure some stud dogs that I like their pups traits more than others studs, but to say they are the top stud isn't possible they all are gonna throw pot licking culls! But those culls may have never been giving a chance or took after the female traits mostly. Get a pup teach it to handle and keep it in the woods, in coons, after that the handlers have a lot to do with how a pup turns out...
Clean is a coondog for sure; and seams to be reproducing some nice "young" hounds - I have bought a breeding to him myself.
You have a good chance of the Clean pups turning out, but if they don't look in the mirror 1st not at the top side of the papers.

There is no real way to know the best stud dog out there. I could get on here and say mine is the best on because of the pups he has thrown. But most people will say one of the stud dogs in the magazines is the best one out there mainly because they see them every month on the magazine.

A top female will make any male look like a top stud when in reality there are very few males being studded today that throw there traits in most every litter they site regardless of the the female they are bred to!! That would be a dominant stud and buckfork dollar has shown these abilities in the females he has covered !! My suggestion would be if you like 90% of your females traits then find a male with the same traits as she has maybe a little better in some areas and breed them and don't worry about what the papers say!!! That is your best chance of having a consistent litter!! And remember 9/10 I's reproducing not 2/10 jmo 571-233-5819
