They have not had that event for a few years now. They do have a similar event Labor Day Weekend at Allen County Fairgrounds in Lima, OH. It called Max's Water Dog Races.

Well boys... This is where I live and it is Gone.. All the field is grown up in soybeans and the vender booths are all torn down. a cpl years ago they had a county concert with some old washed up county singers but it is only set up to hold a cpl hundred ppl. That Ross family has enough money to raise 10 generation of kids and never work a lick. To bad , it used to be a good ole time out at the Coon Chase

max's seems to be growing more and more each year lots of people i have talked too love it more than kenton shower houses blacktopped drives not as much dust but vendors for flea market are plenty and swim dogs in evening you can go online and check max's fleamarket lima ohio

Lima event not nearly as much for hunters few dogs or hunting equipment..more garage sale ..flea market craft items
