Good game refs swallowed their whistles in favor of Miami in the last minute of the game.

You see when James took off on the fast break toward the end and Green swatted the ball away? Notice James threw his elbow into Greens chest to push off. That's all James does. He's the master at pushing people away with his off arm.

The refs eating their whistles and keeping Miami in the game in the 4th quarter. There was no way SA was going to win to keep the NBA from all this money to be made with a 7th game.

You're right about that Chuck! I used to love watching baseball and basketball, but I can hardly stand those sports anymore. I will watch the highlights and that's about it. I have never been much of a hockey fan, but I think I will become one soon! One of the things I hate about basketball and hockey is, their season seems to never end!

did you watch the whole game?

again, if it was rigged, do you really think they aree going to let it come down to a desperation 3 with a second to go for the heat to not lose?

there is always favorable officiating along the way, and ususlly in crunch time, the refs let the players decide the outcome, and that was the case.

as far as james, he choked bigtime and is lucky his legacy wasnt ruined forever if they ended up losing that game. how many turnovers and missed shots in the final 2-3 mintues?

They can't blatantly give heat every call but it's the same way as when refs point shave. Little things start to add up. If you know what to look for you can see it clear as day. College basketball players point shave almost every single game. Of course the refs have to let the game be played but all the no calls and blown calls add up.

Holy Crap, I can't believe you, or anyone else, would make a judgement on Lebron James based on 2 or 3 minutes of ANY, basketball game! Is there any other athlete that gets scrutinized more than LBJ? This guy puts up a triple double, and people start complaining he didn't do this or that! Name me one other player who can guard any position on the court, and shut down that player! For all you Jordan lovers out there, you didn't see all the game winning shots he missed, just the ones he made!

yall are trying to say the outcome was determined before the game even started, and that is not evenly remotely close to the truth.

you can argue that the refs call a game favoring one team or the other, but no way was that game not determined by the players and coaches.

again, if you are rigging an outcome, you dont leave it to chance that the heat makes a 3 pointer with seconds to go just to tie the game and send into OT.

Jordan compared to James? Man they really have no similarities at all. And Jordan made alot more game winners and crunch time plays then anyone. Remember when he had the flu and willed his team to a championship? Jordan was un stopable because he could drive, AND shoot. Lebron is pretty tough to stop with that body he has and considering he shoves off about every other play,

how long has lebron been in the league? a long time and no decision is being based on 2-3 mintues. the reason i stated that becuase they very easily should have lost that game do to lebrons multiple turnovers and missed shots down the stretch. that loss would have meant lebron was now 1-3 in finals appearances. couple that with the way he disappeared in playoff series losses in the past, and with the heat possibly breaking up the current roster next year, easpecially with another year without a chmapionship, and yes his legacy could have been tarnished for good and the mention of comparing him to jordan would have gone away.

Rance you're the one who claimed his legacy would have been ruined had they not won that game, and you said it was based on 2 or 3 minutes! Did you not see the 3 he made in the closing seconds of the game. He did not play good against Dallas, but give me a break when you talk about his team losing when he was with Cleveland. He carried that team to the CHAMPIONSHIP, with a bunch of no name players! Are you telling me Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley weren't great players? None of them won a Championship!

Trevor, compare LBJ's stats this year to Jordans best year and see how they stack up! Jordan also had a loaded team every year. If you remember, Scotty Pippen was chosen as a top 50 player of all time. Kinda helps having that caliber of player on your team. He uses that body of his to create space when a plays inside....every big man does!

I can't stand seeing a monster shove his way into the lane. It has ruined basketball. Nobody reqruits shooters anymore. They overlook the 6'2 guy that can shoot lights out and go for the 6'7 guy that is lucky to hit 20% from deep.

Lebron in my honest opinion has played terrible this post season. For as much as he touches the ball he should get a tripple double every game.

did you see the three point attmpt right before he made that one and the three point attmpt right before ray allens made 3 pointer?

both misses. like i said he had numerous misses and turnovers with the game on the line and he choked, he was really lucky he got bailed out or he would be looking at 1-3 in nba final appearances. what is jordans and kobe's records in nba finals?

Lebron is IMO the most talented player ever. I honestly don't think he's that effective tho. He has barely been a factor in the finals. He is the most talented, strongest guy on the floor but count how many times he flops and throws a fit like a two year old when he doesn't get calls.
Used to be a fan but definitely not anymore.

As for it being rigged. Sure could be. Not completely but refs can certainly affect the game. Certain calls at certain times can definitely change the momentum and outcome.

I don't care either way. I just want to see lebron get beat.

The NBA markets a product; and it's not basketball, I t's ENTERTAINMENT!!! How can THE NBA survive in TODAYS MARKETPLACE without HERO'S?? Years ago it was THE CELTICS. Then Showtime in LOS ANGELES with MAGIC JOHNSON. Then came MICHAEL JORDAN and DA' BULLS in Chicago. Now it's MIAMI with THE HEAT. Next it'll be WHERE EVER THE NBA wants to MARKET THEIR PRODUCT of PREYING on THE YOUTH OF TODAY. Do you Remember a PAIR OF AIR JORDANS, The price they demanded?? HAVE YOU EVER went to a GAME?? THEY ARE ON THE VERGE OF PRICING THEIRSELVES OUT THE MARKET. The Bottom Line is Just Like The WWF, It'll Bear Whatever People's Willing To Pay. But to me, I'd just as soon Watch Lonesome Dove, Because After All, IT'S ENTERTAIMENT!!!
