Henry Lever Action .22
I shoot CCI CB Shorts because my gun holds more of them than Long Rifle rounds. Been known to shoot what ever is in the bottom of the glovebox though.

I think most are shootin the shitzz as you cannot seem to find a 22 caliber round anywhere between here in S.E. Ohio and Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I say that cause I just came back from there checking along the way. It's so very funny, I don't care what store you walk into, they are all telling the same story. Ole Joe Blow just bought the last box this morning, LOL Give me a break, I may have been born in the dark but it wasn't LAST NIGHT!!!

Saw some .22 ammo at our local gun shop this weekend. Some brand I never heard of. 40 grain, non-jacketed solids. $49 a brick. I didn't buy any. And no, do not p.m. me to see if I can have Allen bootleg some to Redbone Days. lol

ha ha I went back to the basics and broke out the ol 32 cal smoke pole . I have plenty of powder and caps . make my own bullets and can shoot all day at nothing lol .

You guys should look into shooting a pellet gun. That's all I use to shoot coon. Quiet and cheap and brings them out.

I really prefer CCI SGB. They have a solid 40 gr. lead that is flat-nosed. It shots with the same velocity as CCI Minimags, but the flat nose imparts a lot of energy from the bullet to the animal.
