MOSCOW (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law a measure that stigmatizes gay people and bans giving children any information about homosexuality.
The ban on "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations" is part of an effort to promote traditional Russian values over Western liberalism, which the Kremlin and the Russian Orthodox Church see as corrupting Russian youth and contributing to the protests against Putin's rule.

Hefty fines can now be imposed on those who provide information about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community to minors or hold gay pride rallies.

i wonder if putin is concerned about being pc.

putin is a president/dictator that is determined to see russia regain the globel standing it once had during the cold war. obama, on the other hand, is a president/passivist determined to watch the world go by as the US slides into third world status.

the problem with your reasoning is that it assumes things stay the same. but things haven't stayed the same. consider the tea party and the americans for prosperity. they've made a huge impact on politics. we've, because i'm a member of the tea party, have changed the expectations of the people we compaine for. we'll continue to have greater impact as time goes on.

Ezekiel reminded Juduh that Sodom was destroyed because its people were arrogant, overfed, and unconcerned about the needy people within their reach. It is easy to be selective in what we consider gross sin. If we do not commit such horrible sins as adultery, homosexuality, stealing, and murder, we may think we are living good enough lives. But what about sins like arrogance, gluttony, and indifference to the needy? These sins may not be shocking to you as the others, but they are also forbidden by God

no country has done more, spent more to medigate hunger and the needed than this country. no country donates as much, per citizen to the needed than the citizens this country and not just to the needy in this country but to the needy all around the world, even to those who would do us harm. and, of the people of the US, it's the conservatives that donate the most.
