rule question

Dog a and b are struck dog a is treed then dog c is struck and b and c are treed. when walking in dog a is running right handed and dog b and c are split. dog a comes into dog c. is dog c still shut out?

No its not shut out if its on any other tree then the one A was on. Shut out on strike only applies when the dog was on a tree with a dog that was struck and treed before it was struck in.

That's what I thought but the other handlers were saying that she couldn't move up because she may have been treed with dog a.

Somebody better be moving up on tree points lol and c should be awarded his strike points. If A would have stayed treed and C was handled there then no but it wasn't.

No dog isnt shut out. BUT shouldnt b and c go in for 125 each. You have no idea for sure what tree dog a was originally treed on.

Not according to UKC, they assume the last dog treed was the one that was originally split. I have no idea how they come up with that but its how they do it.
