All dogs treed togeather and tree is scored. We walk about 20 yards and cut em, 1 dog returns and starts treeing, I was the judge and told the guy to go grab his dog, another handler pitched a fit because the dog hadnt been struck.

Must a dog be struck in this situation before the guy can go get him? The minute was still running when i told him to retrieve his dog and you could see from where we were standing that it was the same tree.

Tech nically,, it is a cast vote about going back and getting the dog. But no, you are not ever required to strike a dog before the minute.
