Astro 220 Help

One Of My Hunting Buddies Has a 220 It Will Pick Up Dogs For 100 Yards . Then It Shows A Question Mark. I Have A 320 And Am Not Having A Problem. My Other Hunting Buddy Has A 220 And He Is Not Having Any Problem We Have Changed The Antenna Done All We Know To Do

To make a quick guess I would say the antenna connection is broke on your buddies 220. There is a small wire and solder joint that can break if too much pressure is put on the antenna.
When you say you and your other buddy is not having any problem I assume you mean with HIS collars.
In other words you have the same collars on all three handhelds and his is the only one not being able to pick them up?

It that is the case and the antenna connection is broken you have a couple options.

Send it back to Garmin after calling them and the cost is $150 and they send you refurbished one. Not a bad idea if your screen is all scratched up or buttons rubbed down.

Several guys fix them and I know one of the best and his charge would be between $50 and $75 depending on if the sma connection needs to be replaced or just repaired.
