Sad to report that Sammy Everett has passed away. A long time hard coon hunter from the North West corner of Georgia, Sammy was well know and revered by all who knew him or knew of him. A one of a kind, rare individual who truly did things his own way. A mountain man who could get more out of a dog and tree coons where others could not or would not even go. One of the last of a rare breed the likes of which this old world was proud of in years past, does not understand now and will likely not produce enough of or even see again. Proud to have gotten to hunt with him and call him a friend.

To here that, I will have to do some Genealogy research and see if there might be some family there, A lot of my family came from over Georgia way to La. years ago, they came from England, after leaving Germany, you never know.....Gerald
