Breeding a female quetion

I have a female that just started her heart cycle, she is not up to date on her shots, would you give her shots, or take a chance, because the vet said the shots could reduce her fertility. We raised a litter from her last year, and we're at a loss to give shots or not. Any advice would be appreciated. Tom

I give my females a 5 way shot when they are first coming into heat.It boosts imunity in the pups.My vet says don't give shots after they have been bred could cause them to abort
