Bothering dogs?
I can't sit on the porch for them. I have never seen so many flies in my life this year!

Fly traps. Jug type.

I catch the flies with those jug type fly traps. Flies go in and can't get out. When you run out of the liquid attractant, use a fried chicken bone with a little meat left on it. After a few hot days of that soaking in that jug of water, it stinks real bad. The flies will
come from all around and get trapped. The jug will fill up with flies.
I hang the trap in a tree 6 feet off the ground, about 20 feet from the dog pen. You can get the trap at Farm supply stores like tractor supply or Rural King.

You can spray a white rag perithium and hang it where the breeze will move it. The flies will land on it and die.

finally got me some bronco yesterday. sprayed the pens and the dogs. I also have one w/ the biting ear problem. I use the Swat, in the blue can. cover the area and then some with the paste, it will be slimy/greasy, but it will prevent the flies from biting and help it heal. but you have to reapply it. I also use the Fly Predators. sprinkle them on the poop and they eat the fly larvae, but I think they have been overrun this year with all the wet weather. more flies than Ive seen too.

flies

WOW ! They're terrible this year . I hung a 1gal clear ziplock bag 1/2 full of water about 3 ft from kennel floor . The morning I hung it flies were everywhere . That afternoon there were almost none . I also have a 36" fan blowing on the hounds . I'm sure it helps some .
