Yep. I had one that came from Carl several years ago that turned out to look just like a boston terrier. Ears straight up on her head and all. Omcba reg. What good are breed standards.

Heavy streak bred female.

Curs looking like feists, or curs looking like hounds. Neither suit me, but the cur 'breed' is loaded with both of the aforementioned breeds, so it will show up whether we like it or not.

And that's the bottom line truth right there. At some point you'd think it'd cease to be an issue with folks. It's like the never ending story.

Thanks. She is 30lbs, not sure on height. She is smaller then most. Her sire is 40+lbs but he throws small females no matter what he is bred to.

There are some real good dogs out of him as far as average you are going to have to look down the bloodline of the pup you are considering to find that out and if it is heavy even though the parents are of a bigger size could still throw a small one if it is heavy Streak. Really hard to say an average. Some are very small some are of normal size. It just depends what the breeders bred along the way. Could have all the small dogs bred out but still maybe could throw a small one.

Does size matter if they tree squirrels?

I personally don't care about size as long as they produce meat.

Yea here where we get a lot of snow most people like them a little bigger. Especially since the season has been open into Febuary.

Dear Bubbas, the other day I saw a pic of Carl Smith and Bill Barger on the Streak dog facebook page, and they were both grinning from ear to ear. Bubba Barger was holding two pups red in color, with white trim, you know marked up like old Streak. Bubbas, both men I speak of, are known to like dogs that are red in color, with a little white trim.

This dog is a grandson of Redman and Pearl, guess you could call him streak bred. 60 + pounds.

Looks like he has just enough BMC in him to get some size on him.

That's one of the first things that I've read that you posted that I agree with.
