Dixie shot an killed

Dixie and young redbone shot and kill at nite hunt. The prick burned our gps collars killed both dogs while they were treed over hundred yards from his house. He told cops and dnr they ran off ;however, when they had me go to his house with gps his story changed. He had cut both dogs collars off burned them and tried to hide our dogs bodies.

Sorry to hear how this crap keeps happening, if those people only knew how much time and money a man has in this sport and hounds. Sounds to me that he would have been better off to have called the cops on you!!! Hope you get restitution for all of your loss and the law hangs that guy!!!

Hope you get ahold of the Burlington Hawkeye and convince them to do a story on this. Educate people from this horrible tragedy!
Hope he gets some kind of punishment. It won't bring your dogs back but atleast he won't get away with it and maybe someone can learn from it....

Still having hard time with the stupidity of it all. I do know win or lose he will regret his actions. This will be pushed through the court system. It will not replace Dixie but it may save this from happening again.
Thank god the game warden is coon hunter and understands what or hounds mean to us. I do believe the warden and police will do all they can to help us.
I do know I buried a good hound today and she will be misted. I also know the tears he brought to Laura and my kids face will be payed back in full one way or anther.

I am glad nobody got shot. When cops and dnr showed up he come out of an out building with a pistol. I think the crazy prick was hiding in building waiting for us to come back looking for our dogs. This whole crazy night could of gotten very bloody. I just thank god no one got hurt or killed.
