Don't anybody look now but a tall dark gunslinger just strolled into the bar room, kinda sitting all to himself over in the corner with Hog irons strapped on both hips. He don't say much to anyone , just drinks his whiskey and looks at his cards., very much under the radar.

That's right, a little o'le Kansas dog qualified for the World Hunt last weekend. Hmmmmm,, Now lets see here.... Zone finals are in his home town this year, Hmmmm... and give him 6 months to prepare before then... Hmmmm..

Could it be that the B&T Assoc might want to make sure they have Ink in their pen this year to write that WHIF Check ???

Yep, it's way early but have you noticed the quality of dogs that have already won this year in RQE's ? Have you noticed some of them not only qualifying but winning 1st place in the RQE ? Hmmmm..

We already have Jeff Nelson and Mandy II , Chad McCoin with Buddy, Ron Riser and Thumper, James Jackson is in again. He's a past Whif winner.. We have RT and Sniper , we have Mitch Loggins and mark Reed winning 1st place in RQE's last weekend.. and yeah we have that Kansas fellar I mentioned above with Zones in his home town this year..

Can you say " Look the hell out ? Do you think just maybe the WHIF program might be making a little difference ?

and yeah B&T Asocc Secretary.. You might wanna make sure you do have Ink in you check writing pen this year just in case.....

Mark I got my money on Barny Fife in pa. I just hope he draws a cast with older hunters so he can keep up. Maybe he should go out to pasture and put Sniper in a younger handlers hands. You know what they say things start to slip when you get old and I know all those doughnuts are taking their toll on him.

I'd put my money on the Ks. Guy. He wins once in a while.

I don't think were going this year. Queen will hopefully be breed at that time. Might try with Otis, we'll see.

...All joking aside, we do already have some nice dogs qualified... Hope the trend continues all summer long. I ain't been to an RQE yet and just need to get off my duff and go.

Chief I would have to leave this keyboard and actually get into the woods. You know I'm a Pro computer hunter now days. I just talk about coondogs instead of actually doing it.
