KT told me the bad news tonight. If we're lucky enough, we get 1 or 2 dogs that are truly special. KT has been extremely lucky to have had two that were littermates. Tonight Rose is with her brother treeing the big coon in the sky. Condolences to you my friend, and may you have many more that carries on the blood!!!!

Funny the way things happen. 9 years ago this weekend she won the SC State hunt. Now she dies the weekend of the State hunt. She was not my best dog but she has been my favorite to Competition hunt. We won several hunts over the years. She made it high in the AKC world, PKC Silver Champion, UKC GrNtCh, '04 SC State Champ, High Scoring B&T of several hunts including the Grand American. There werea many casts that she would win the cast a coon or two ahead of the second place dog. She was very fun to hunt!
