i have done that and they say the dog with that name is in their system but they will not release the info of who to contact where its located or the ukc number of the dog. but you tell me why they cant take my phone number and contact the owner and have the owner call me . the OWNER can then decide (if they are trying to be fooled or not) so that false papers arent made on a dog they dont belong. in my opinion this should not be their decision but it is what it is. they will just get less and less registrants every time this occurs . but ,who am i , just a hunter trying to justify whats right for the title of my dog, or some scam artist.
