poem funning the walker dogs

The funniest thing i ever saw,
Was a full grown man huntin a walker dog.
His friends say hunt walkers, they're the best ever bred,
I say they're just fox hounds, or so i heard said.
They were shipped here from England,to the coast in Virginia,
Hot nose tree dogs, if thats what you're in to.
They're gammy for sure, move with speed undenied,
They tree now and then, but nothing can find.
They once were coon dogs, when i was a boy,
Could run a cold track, and did it with joy.
Traits bred in so they'd stay at the tree,
All for dollar from the PKC.
Now if a coon dog you're wanting, then take my advice,
You can look at a walker, but you'd better look twice.
